I was raised in a lower middle class family, went to public schools. I was a high school dropout, got a GED and started night school. After a succession of community, foreign colleges (while in military), I received a BS degree in Business in 1977 at age 37.
I was President of a growing retail and Mail Order company, so the degree was more for my mother- OK, for me, too- than for my business career needs. In fact, that degree was a greater accomplishment than being elected President of a company. Not so much for the degree itself, but the achievement of learning the value of persistence. The educational background provided the basic framework with which I could logically create solutions to problems.
That's what I hope to do here. Stimulate thinking and action to create and deliver solutions; pragmatic, workable solutions to all of society's real and growing problems.The Founding Fathers had a vision of what would help this country and it's citizens grow and prosper. That vision has been weakened, and relegated to less than ideal status. I hope we can correct that.

All Eyes on Occupy Oakland: Too Big to Fail, Too Big to Jail
It is relatively easy to co-opt an unfocused and unstructured movement of political protest like Occupy.
We can see the anarchists starting to influence folks, the rabble rousers, the organized radical left finds sympathetic souls in Occupy and re-targets their anger at their goals. It was to be expected. Read the Article at HuffingtonPost
