Like what I say and want to compliment me on my thinking? Do it here. Don't like what I say and want to chastise me, yell at me, try to get me to change my mind? Do it here.
I was raised in a lower middle class family, went to public schools. I was a high school dropout, got a GED and started night school. After a succession of community, foreign colleges (while in military), I received a BS degree in Business in 1977 at age 37.
I was President of a growing retail and Mail Order company, so the degree was more for my mother- OK, for me, too- than for my business career needs. In fact, that degree was a greater accomplishment than being elected President of a company. Not so much for the degree itself, but the achievement of learning the value of persistence. The educational background provided the basic framework with which I could logically create solutions to problems.
That's what I hope to do here. Stimulate thinking and action to create and deliver solutions; pragmatic, workable solutions to all of society's real and growing problems. The Founding Fathers had a vision of what would help this country and it's citizens grow and prosper. That vision has been weakened, and relegated to less than ideal status. I hope we can correct that.
Agree with me? Write here and discuss it! Disagree with me? Make your case here.

It's much easier to act out ephemeral ideolgy than it is to offer solutions and discuss and defend them. So Liberals and Conservatives, Libertarians and Progressives, stop talking ideology and talk solutions that are backed by facts, by numbers, by budgets.
