Bill Clinton: Newt Gingrich And Mitt Romney Can't Tell The Truth And Win GOP Nomination


There are few people whose political smarts, intellect, pragmatism and other qualities I admire and repect more than Clinton's.

In another era he would have been a Republican­, because he understand­s the diference between ideology and the practicali­ty of governing, and knows in his heart that free market capitalism is the foundation that built America, and from which any future progress is to issue.

Over a cup of coffee, or a Big Mac, he might just say, quietly, "personal decisions, personal consequenc­es, individual opportunit­y, individual achievemen­t."

His career is a monument to the chance for opportunit­y, whether you like him or his politics, or not.
