South Carolina Primary 2012: Live Updates From The Palmetto State

Fifty five years ago my family and I vacationed yearly in S.C. on the coast, driving from Baltimore or by train, to get there. My brother has lived there for 20 years, and still reports somehwat of a "plantatio­n mentality" outside of urban areas.It's one place in the primary circuit where we might see a manifestat­ion of religious bigotry, mostly avoided up to now.
