o attacks- wasn't because he sincerely wanted clean, it was because his baggage weight was so much higher than the others and exposing his "linens" just wouldn't be pretty, so he took the high ground-sup

If American's decide to vote "clean" we could always get another Jimmy Carter; church-goi
ng, honest, simplistic
, and inept.
My point is that it seems, sometimes, that Americans like the fight theatrics more than the substance; that politics and ideology have become so dirty that clean honest, considerat
e, moral candidates (you ARE out there aren't you?) aren't interested

America has arrived at the point where other countries arrived earlier; politician
s buy votes with promises, some of which are even actually legislated
, then must improve on those promises for ever and ever. People aren't stupid, when given a choice of something for nothing, or minimal effort, they take the path of least resistance
. Therein lies the eventual decline and fall of empires; when Citizens take for granted what was once the result of individual effort, they are unlikely to vote for less. We've become polarized between those who want more and are willing to work for it, and those who want more, but others pay for it. What's your choice?
